Leon Anthony “Bay” Vandiver is a Montgomery native. Leon spent his youth life in Montgomery and his adulthood in Chicago. He attended Booker T. Washington High School and is a “cum laude” Graduate of Alabama State University. Leon served as Head Drum Major in the marching band at both BTW and ASU. As a youngster, Leon fell in love with sports, especially football. Games were played almost on a daily basis in the Trenholm Court housing projects. He played basketball even more on the local courts. He had to make a decision between football and music after being hired to play in a local Club Band before his 15th Birthday. His older friends, although very athletic, decided to join the more popular BTW “ Marching 100” Band. Leon joined in the fun, also. Marching with the High School band and playing drums with a Club band(Canidate KC Express),his days and nights were a juggling act He and friends (The Mod Squad)formed a hangout group that befriended the local DeeJays at radio station WRMA. Tracy Larkin was one of the most popular up and coming DeeJays in Montgomery at this time. Some in the Mod Squad wanted to be radio DeeJays but Leon enjoyed playing drums on stage and stayed with it. Tracy was a great friend and mentor who was mentored by the DeeJay greats of the time. Yet He was able to take the art to another level. Meanwhile,The BTW football Coach recruited Leon as a receiver as well as other band members. An injury playing sandlot football ended football hopes but several other band members went on to star on the team. Music was an income and Leon’s ticket to College. As a SWAC Drum Major, the intensity and performance level filled the stadiums. Upon graduating, it was off to Chicago . This was the next stop on Leon’s summer book salesman tour. With a B. S. Degree in hand, a teaching offer was taken and a very popular band needed a drummer. Moving on to a career in corrections, I retired and returned to Montgomery. TLBN was formulated 10 years before it’s enception. In the mind of Tracy Larkin. He stated that It would be based on Freedom of Speech and programming. Barry “Badbeatz “ Brinson was introduced and history was made. Barry put together a blueprint and built the board as outlined and programmed the software to TLBN, “TheTracy Larkin Broadcasting Network”. My roll from the beginning was to be and do whatever is necessary to help make the TLBN experience the best it can be. Whether I’m producing, co-hosting, training broadcasters and interns or promoting the Tracy Larkin concept, it’s been fun from the start.

Ronica, Producer & Host of TLBN'S 'Faire Play Show', was born & raised in the capital city of Montgomery, AL.  Though radio & television entertainment has been a love of hers since childhood, she did not begin serious pursuit of her passion until the age of about 24, when she began performing in various church plays.  Since then, she has gone on to perform in various local & traveling plays under the auspices of several Writers & Directors. 

Miss Faire began production & hosting of 'The Faire Play Show' in July of 2014.  She plays old & new skool R&B, Pop & Hip Hop music and along with sidekick, Adrienne Massengale, has lively discussion about trending blog & news topics. Her future plans the Faire Play Show include the incorporation of comedic scripts and  interviews with local talent & well-known  celebrities.

ABOUT William “Mouse” Boswell William "MOUSE" Boswell, from Montgomery AL., I am a graduate of Sidney Lanier H. S. and I also attended Alabama State University. My junior year in high school, I founded WRMA. Since then, my life has never been the same.

My time there prepared me greatly for the "next phase". In 1975, I moved to Chicago, where I became the house DJ at the" 1623 Club" Evanston, for 7 years. I also became producer of "the Jim Heard Show" (WOJO). Sometime later, I moved to Atlanta, working at WYZE. I was fortunate to work with the legendary DJ, "Ally Pat", it was Awesome.

  I found my way back to Montgomery, AL., and it too was a blessing. I began working with a dear friend & classmate, Nathan Jones (Herman Bennett), and Bill Black, a gifted engineer and both men would teach me more than I can imagine and I will be forever grateful. For the past 20 years, the place for me has been The ELK'S Club. I have added a new adventure as member of the Tan Town Coffee Club Team with Hilton “Tracy” Larkin where I not only report on the hottest entertainment events in the city but I also host an afternoon program of the funkiest music in the Capital City directly after TTCC. Leon is a native of Montgomery, Alabama and a proud graduate of the historic Booker T. Washington High School. Although surrounded by family members in radio and entertainment, Leon chose sports... playing football and basketball in high school and college. Recognizing the need for change in our society, he joined the United States Marine Corps, which turned out to be one of the most important decisions of his life. The military experience which he gained in the U.S.M.C. served him well later in life when he was afforded the privilege of working with disabled veterans. A very vital part of the therapy for the veterans that Leon cared for was the infusion of music into their daily regimen, and it was this realization that persuaded him to understand that music is not merely the "universal language", it is nectar for the soul. The passion for serving as caregiver and counselor for veterans influenced him to exercise his special gift in a broader way, so he accepted an invitation to join the TLBN family to share the therapy worldwide. True to form, Leon swiftly carved out his own niche in the entertainment industry by creating a Friday night habit called Heavy and the Fat Cats, an irreverent mix of R&B, Gospel, Blues and News, which airs from 7 until 1Opm central time. Heavy's guests range from athletes to entrepreneurs to recording artists to authors, politicians, and community activists  And his sports acumen is not lost as he regularly co-hosts The Sports Bar with Rennie Jones a weekly feature on TLBN's Tan Town Coffee Club.
